If the skin looks red and dry or feels rough and irritated, the skin’s immunity is most likely compromised. Other possible culprits for your symptoms include acne, eczema, or atopic dermatitis. There are prescriptions and topical products that can help calm the look and feel of the skin and promote the benefits of a healthy acid mantle.
