The cosmetic skin care company, Environ Skin Care(Pty)Ltd, founded by Dr. Des Fernandes in 1990, is one of only a few companies in the world that owns and operates their own dedicated manufacturing facility. Environ products are manufactured under strictly controlled contaminant-free laboratory conditions at their newly built state-of-the-art factory in Cape Town, South Africa. This new facility is industry leading and one of a kind in the cosmetic world.

Maximum efficacy of formulations is maintained by prevention of exposure of the ingredients to light, heat, air and irradiation. Manufacturing is done in clean room production areas with pharmaceutical grade conditions including specially designed water and air filtration systems. All employees wear surgical gowns, caps and boots in the production area to maintain contaminant-free conditions. A nitrogen blanket and red/yellow light conditions assist in maintaining a totally clean production environment.

To further protect the ingredients, so that they remain at peak levels and effectiveness is ensured, Environ packages their products in airless pump containers which are essential to maintaining the integrity of the products.

In addition, all products are tested by independent laboratories who have certified facilities for microbiological and vitamin analysis.

We have two dedicated training centers, one in Mashpee, Massachusetts and the other in Delray Beach, Florida. Well over 150 trainings are held every year in these locations and facilities across the USA.

In-depth, hands-on extensive skin science and product training programs are offered to enhance the professional knowledge and skills of the physician and their staff, and enable them to offer their clients the Environ brand education and advice.
