Since May is Skin Cancer Awareness Month, the time is right to discuss your knowledge of skin cancer and skin health. The more you know, the better you can protect yourself!
For starters, did you know that skin cancer is the most common cancer in the U.S., with over 5 million cases diagnosed each year? Fortunately, skin cancer is also one of the most preventable forms of cancer. Here’s what you can do to lower your risk:
Wear sunscreen, rain or shine, 365 days a year.

Get to know your skin.
