A Special Thank You To Environ Founder, Dr. Des Fernandes

In honor of National Doctors’ Day on March 30, we’d like to celebrate the work of Environ Skin Care’s esteemed founder, medical director, and chief formulator, Dr. Des Fernandes. Without Dr. Des and his unrelenting passion for results, Environ would not be the pioneering force in skin care that it is today.

As a young cardiac and plastic surgeon, Dr. Des became driven to find restorative skin care solutions after losing two melanoma patients, who both tragically died before they were 23. Fueled by this loss and determined to find a cure, Dr. Des began to study the mechanism of skin cancer, which led him to research the topical application of vitamin A on skin. And the rest is history—Environ Skin Care was born.

Under the direction of Dr. Des, our team has spent years researching the key ingredients that skin loves most, and we’ve combined these effective agents into advanced skin care formulations to improve the look of every type of skin and concern.
